Computer Shows, Inc. In 1984, when no more than 40% of the American population owned a computer, we asked ourselves, "Where can the consumer go to see a diverse selection of the latest computer products at competitive prices all under one roof?" As the number of computer users nationwide skyrocketed, we introduced the MarketPro Computer Show and Sale event concept in California. Over the past seventeen years, MarketPro Computer Shows, Inc. has become the largest computer trade show promoter in the United States. From our three regional offices, we produce over 1000 Computer Show and Sale events each year with over 2.5 million consumers in attendance. Our Maryland-based office produced its first show in January of 1994 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In only seven years, the Maryland office has grown to produce over 700 shows annually in over 60 markets and 15 states throughout the Mid-West, Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast. The other MarketPro regional office is in New Jersey. Each MarketPro Computer Show and Sale event has two goals. First, our events provide a forum for today's computer user to meet face-to-face with a wide variety of computer and technology wholesalers, retailers and distributors selling the latest products at better-than-retail prices. Second, each show gives the exhibitor the opportunity to sell to thousands of potential customers during each show day. In many of markets, you will find a MarketPro Computer Show and Sale event as often as once a month. In larger markets, we return even more frequently; for example, we host events in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area almost every weekend of the year. The shows are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30am to 4:00pm. Admission is $6.00 for adults (except in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC Metropolitan Areas, including Northern Virginia and Maryland, King of Prussia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA and West Palm Beach, FL, where admission is $7.00 per person); children 11 and under are free. Each year the MarketPro Computer Show and Sale expands into new cities providing an unsurpassed setting for exhibitors to grow their businesses while allowing computer enthusiasts to enjoy a diverse selection of quality products at competitive prices and learn about the latest developments that technology has to offer.
