Championship Gaming Tournaments Continue

CALL OF DUTY: WORLD AT WAR

April 18-19, 2009

9:30 - 4:00 PM

 

Tournament presented and administered by GameStop

and the Maryland National Guard Army.

$500 in cash prizes for the two day tournament. Winner of each day's tournament will receive $250.

REGISTRATION AT THE TOURNAMENT ONLY

 

There is no separate Registration Fee to enter the Call of Duty Tournament. Your show admission allows you to sign up on a first come first serve basis. Registration will take place in the Tournament Area. Staff from GameStop and the Maryland National Guard Army will be there to assist you and answer any questions.

 

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

 

  • Twelve Qualifying rounds and one final each day.
  • Qualifying rounds are 15 minutes
  • Final Round is 30 Minutes (same rules)

MATCH SETTINGS

 

  • Free For All Death Match
  • Highest Score Wins and advances on to the final round
  • Perks will be enabled
  • Respawn time of 5 seconds for each death

MATCH RULES

  • The Tournament Director will control the map selections.
  • All players must play with the wireless controller provided by the Tournament Director.
  • Tournament Director will select which player plays on what system by random selection.
  • If you loose a qualifying round, you can go to the back of the line and wait until a spot opens in another qualifying round.
  • People can only win a final round once. The winner of the first day final round does not qualify for the second day’s final round.
