Gears of War 4v4

Rules


Match Settings

  • The game mode for all the matches throughout the tournament will be Execution.
  • Each match will last 5 minutes.
  • Each tier will have its own map that all matches in that particular tier will play on. In other words, matches in the first tier will play on Mansion, matches in the second will play on Gridlock, etc.
  • The first team to win the best of three rounds will be declared the winner.

Match Rules

  • In the event of a dispute in regards to the results of a match, there will be a rematch with a mandatory moderator to watch over the match.
  • Wireless controllers and controllers with turbo capabilities are prohibited.

Moderator Guidelines

  • Bleed Out Duration: 10 seconds
  • Friendly Fire: On
  • Weapons Swap: Hammer of Dawn with Boomshot
  • Rounds: 5 per match
  • Time: 5 min
    Maps: Gridlock, Clocktower, Canals, Mansion, War Machine
  • All players must use a different character
  • No glitching!!!!!

Tournament Structure

  • Double Elimination
  • The Open 4v4 is a Best of 3 Game Match, Double Elimination Bracket.
  • Each match will consist of 4 total players.


Semi-Finals

  • The Semi- Finals 4v4 is a Best of 5 Game Matches, Single Elimination Bracket.
  • Each match will consist of 4 total players.


Championship Finals

  • The Championship Finals are a best of 7 game matches.
  • The winning team must win 4 games to be the champion.

Rules

  • Single Elimination
  • Wired or plug in play attached controllers only. BRING YOUR OWN WE DO NOT PROVIDE CONTROLLERS!!
  • Memory cards or any other devices are not allowed. If you are seen in the room with any type of memory card, game shark, or pro-action replay, you will be removed from the tournament.
  • Glitching will not be allowed either. This is to be considered anything like super jumping, passing the flag or bomb through a wall, the reload glitch, or any other trick as such.
  • If you are not sure about what is allowed and what is not please ask before the tournament starts.
